Some nights, I call it a draw
-"Some Nights" by fun.
I had this image banging around in my head for a day or so now. An Enderman fresh from The End trying to fathom the Overworld's night sky.
EDIT: Made some color updates based on *salShepherd's suggestions.
some nights i stay up, stealing players house blocks,
some nights i go back to the end
This is really beautiful *^*
Can your OC's spin their heads in 360's in every direction?
Like, spin or flip?
If you don't mind a little concrit, which being of the good natured sort I doubt you do, there's something that I've observed about your coloring method, not just in this pic but in most of them. When you shade or highlight you tend to stick to the shades and tints of just your base color. This is fine in small doses but the picture will be more interesting to look at if you highlight and shade with slightly different colors, like, say, making the shadow of that grass more blue-green than just straight up green, or the highlighting on that enderman a little more violet, or giving the sky a wider range of colors than just blue to dark blue. It adds a layer of depth and complexity and richness to your coloring when you don't just stick to a single color for each thing.
Anway I say it this on this piece in particular because I really like to concept and the composition, but it just feels like there should be something more.
And thank you for the crit! It's something I need to keep in mind when working with stuff like this. I plan on doing some more art today so I'll try to keep it in mind and might revisit this piece later to see what I can improve in it (cause I agree that it needs more).
