Some Nights by Shrineheart Some Nights by Shrineheart
Some nights, I stay up cashing in my bad luck
Some nights, I call it a draw

-"Some Nights" by fun.

I had this image banging around in my head for a day or so now. An Enderman fresh from The End trying to fathom the Overworld's night sky.

EDIT: Made some color updates based on *salShepherd's suggestions.

If there were that many stars in Minecraft, I would wait for nighttime more often :3

Being neckless...
Can your OC's spin their heads in 360's in every direction?
Like, spin or flip?

Nope, it has slightly extended left and right turn (think like an owl) but all in all they're not able to flip their heads, spin them, or remove them. The head feels attached if you try to pull on it despite having not neck. Their bodies are, in our headcanon, partially a psychic construct so as they can't really see their neck and they don't think much about it, it doesn't exist. Objects like arrows and branches can pass through the gap without issue (one of them has a pet cat that is particularly fond of sleeping in the space there) and they also do not have a hazard of choking (though they can drown in non-water liquids and they can suffocate).
